Big Brother revival set to air on ITV in ‘Spring 2023’

Big Brother’s anticipated return to our screens might be closer than we think.

Since ITV confirmed the news that Big Brother would be making a return to the small screen next year, rumours have circulated as to when the new series could appear.

Now, according to Broadcast, the new series is set to debut in March next year, immediately after the winter edition of Love Island.

Broadcast claims that bosses want to ‘cement the close relationship’ between the two formats, which were traditionally against each other in the ratings war.

This is backed-up by the launch of the Big Brother auditions website which further added that the show would return in Spring 2023, however was later taken back down. Auditions for the new series are set to open soon with the deadline for new submissions in mid-January.

Producers are reportedly set to build a new standalone Big Brother house for the new series, though work is yet to begin on a new location, with a plot in North London being sought after.

Further news on Big Brother’s long awaited comeback will follow soon.
