Lauren Goodger has been given outside world contact to write an article for New! Magazine this week. The article appears to show Lauren talking about her time in the House.
It says: “Speaking in the Diary Room is terrifying! I think I was a little bit tipsy the first time I went in there. Because I know the camera is there, I get nervous, but as I’m goes on I’m sure I’ll get more confident.” This marks the fourth time that a Celebrity has been allowed outside contact due to a work related issue.
The first issue was Rylan Clark who appeared in Celebrity Big Brother 11 back in January 2013, who was allowed to leave the House for tour rehearsals ahead of The X Factor arena tour. The next saw Celebrity Big Brother 12 Housemate, Mario Falcone was allowed to leave the House for a short amount of time to obtain a visa to allow him to film episodes of The Only Way is Essex.
Then in January, Sam Faiers was given permission to meet with a journalist from OK! Magazine to write a column. Both magazines are owned by Richard Desmond, the current owner of Channel 5 who recently sold the network to Viacom.
The rules of Big Brother state that Housemates aren’t allowed contact with the outside world, but this rule seems to be fading fast in recent years.
