Model Jasmine Lennard has reportedly been axed from Celebrity Big Brother – ahead of launch.
The ex-Celebrity Big Brother Housemate was reportedly set to enter the House on Tuesday night, making up part of the all-star line up. However, The Mirror have reported that the star has been removed from the line up after old comments on social media were uncovered.
Bosses had offered Jasmine a six-figure sum to enter the House in two days time, however her appearance will no longer go ahead. The Mirror said “Insiders close to the star are suspicious as to why they have suddenly pulled out of the deal and have questioned their motives.”
A source told The Sun: “It seems crazy that they would have invested that much effort if they were not aware she had sparked Twitter controversies over the last few years.
“They’ve been asked countless times to clarify what exactly the remarks are but have refused.
“The show is locked in a legal battle with Jasmine who feels they are using the remarks as a scapegoat for another reason and that they should honour their agreement and pay the money.”
Celebrity Big Brother kicks off on Tuesday at 9pm.
