With Celebrity Big Brother back in just a matter of days, we take a look back at all the Channel 5 winners since 2011
Since 2011 we have had seven editions of Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 5 – that’s equal to the amount of Celebrity series that aired on Channel 5 between 2001 and 2010! That means we’ve had seven winners.
Celebrity Big Brother 8 – Paddy Doherty
In September 2011, the first Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 5 came to an end, and Big Fat Gypsy Weddings’ star Paddy Doherty walked out as the winner. He lasted 22 days in the House with the likes of Amy Childs and Jedward, beating Kerry Katona in the final vote.
Celebrity Big Brother 9 – Denise Welch
Another Celebrity Big Brother started in January 2012, with a wide variety of Housemates. Overall, Denise Welch was crowned the winner of this series beating X Factor star Frankie Cocozza and Gareth Thomas.
Celebrity Big Brother 10 – Julian Clary
Following the decision to air two Celebrity editions a year, Celebrity Big Brother returned in August 2012. The series saw the likes of Coleen Nolan and Julie Goodyear beaten in the running for the crown by Julian Clary.
Celebrity Big Brother 11 – Rylan Clark
The eleventh edition of Celebrity Big Brother kicked off in January 2013. Housemates such as Heidi and Spencer, Rylan Clark and Claire Richards entered the House. On finale night, Rylan beat Heidi and Spencer and was crowned the winner – and then bagged a presenting spot on Big Brother’s Bit on the Side for the summer!
Celebrity Big Brother 12 – Charlotte Crosby
In August 2013, another summer edition of Celebrity Big Brother kicked off with the likes of Lauren Harries, Louie Spence and Courtney Stodden – who were all beaten by Geordie Shore star Charlotte!
Celebrity Big Brother 13 – Jim Davidson
In January 2014, the most watched edition of Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 5 kicked off with one of the strongest lineups to date. Jim Davidson was crowned the winner, beating Dappy in the running for the winners crown.
Celebrity Big Brother 14 – Gary Busey
In the last series of Celebrity Big Brother, Gary Busey was revealed as the winner of the series – beating White Dee, Audley Harrison and James Jordan in the running for the crown.
