Big Brother 8 winner Brian Belo has hit out at Channel 5 after their poor handling of the row between him and Helen Wood.
Two weeks ago, Channel 5 welcomed back three Big Brother legends in the form of Big Brother 8 Winner Brian Belo, Big Brother 7 and Ultimate Big Brother Housemate, Nikki Grahame and Big Brother 15 winner Helen Wood. They moved into a secret bunker with Marc where they watched the Housemates in the main House.
However on Day 43, Brian and Helen clashed in a large row which lead to her telling Belo he looked like a “rapist and a murderer”. Now, Brian has lashed out at Channel 5 over their handling of the situation.
Speaking to local newspaper the Basildon Echo today, he said: “From the moment we arrived in the house, we just didn’t click,” he said of Helen.“I was always wary of her and the things she was saying about the other housemates, I felt I couldn’t be myself around her.
“Helen said what she said, and that just goes beyond television.”
“I felt I couldn’t remain a part of the show and I feel Channel 5 should have done more.”
He then added “It was morally wrong and this is the end of my association with Big Brother. The show has became more like Hunger Games than Big Brother.”
