Day -6: Channel 5 confirm two houses for Big Brother 2016

Channel 5 have confirmed that there will be two Houses for this year’s series.

It has been confirmed that there will be two houses for this year’s series of Big Brother – which starts on Tuesday. Earlier tonight, Rylan confirmed via Twitter that two sets of Housemates would enter the House into two houses.

The rumour of two houses has been spread since it was revealed that the House would be given a huge extension complete with its own garden. The Daily Star previously reported on the rumour saying  “The two houses will basically run like two different series, meaning fans will get twice the fun.”

In a statement released by Channel 5, they said “The housemates live in the Big Brother house but they will have no idea of the dark and ominous force that is only metres away. In The Other House, the others will be conspiring to target and take down the housemates as they attempt to steal their place in the Big Brother House; and secure a chance of winning the £100,000 prize fund, but this is Big Brother and what you see isn’t always what you get.

Neither the Housemates in the main House nor the others in the other House are aware that some of them are already connected to each other. And these connections could turn both houses upside down, but what are these connections and how will Big Brother use them to keep everyone on their toes?

Big Brother returns on Tuesday at 9pm on Channel 5.
