Channel 5 have rescheduled an upcoming Celebrity Big Brother eviction, in order to launch a new show in the middle.
Undercover Girlfriend is Channel 5’s new format, seeing a group of boys sent on holiday while their girlfriends secretly watch on, similar to Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents that ran on BBC Three previously.
The midweek eviction which was expected to take place on Tuesday 4th September will now take place on Monday 3rd September, split across two episodes.
Part one of the eviction will air at 9pm for 60 minutes, giving the highlights from the last 24 hours inside the Big Brother House, before part two airs at 11pm for 30 minutes after Undercover Girlfriend.
Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side will then follow at 11:30pm for 60 minutes, followed by Live from the House at 12:30am for 30 minutes.
A regular highlights show will now air on Tuesday 4th at 9:15pm, to avoid a clash with Channel 4’s Great British Bake-Off which returns next week. Friday’s eviction will take place in a regular 90 minute episode, but Bit on the Side has been moved to a later slot, airing at 11:30pm for a reduced running time.
Celebrity Big Brother continues tomorrow night at 9pm.
