The Housemates for the brand new series of Big Brother are to be chosen this week.
The new set of Housemates that will walk into the brand new House on launch night are set to be chosen this week – a whole two months before the beginning of the series. Big Brother’s Bit on the Side host, Rylan Clark-Neal has revealed that he will be involved in the selection process.
Speaking to I Talk Telly at last Wednesday’s Royal Television Society Awards, he revealed: “I’ve got a meeting next week where I believe we are picking the housemates. I got to help last year as well for the celeb and the civilian one.
“The housemates I want to see, are the housemates everyone at home wants to see!”
It isn’t the first time that a spin-off host has been involved in the selection process for the Housemates. In 2012, Jamie East was involved in a wildcard twist that saw three people chosen for consideration to become a full Housemate.
Big Brother returns in June.
