Channel 5 have today confirmed that Big Brother will launch on Thursday 5th June

Channel 5 have confirmed after weeks of speculation that Big Brother is to launch on Thursday 5th June. Big Brother: Power Trip introduces the new power twist that was announced earlier.

The new series begins on Thursday 5th June at 9pm on Channel 5. The show will also have a second live launch on Friday 6th June on Channel 5 at 9pm. See the schedules for the two launches here:

9pm: Big Brother: Live Launch Part 1
10:35pm: Big Brother’s Bit on the Side
11:35pm: Big Brother: Live from the House

Friday 6th June:

9pm: Big Brother: Live Launch Part 2
10:35pm: Big Brother’s Bit on the Side
11:35pm: Big Brother: Live from the House

Emma Willis returns as the main presenter, and Rylan Clark returns to host Big Brother’s Bit on the Side.
