The Sun are reporting that the upcoming series of Celebrity Big Brother will revolve around the eye of the storm, in a bit to create controversy and interest around the series. The new eye logo – which is still to be revealed – reportedly has a dark colour and is surrounded by misty clouds.
Earlier this week, Endemol filed to keep the iconic Big Brother House at Elstree Studios for a further three years, prompting a spout of good news and boosting hope for the series, which was set to be axed at the end of this year.
Endemol’s chief creative officer Peter Salmon, said: “Big Brother has got to last. You have to roll your sleeves up and renew it for a different generation.
“It is having a tougher competitive time in the UK but it’s huge around the world. Love Island has been sensational. If Big Brother is not on top form, we have to keep changing it.”
Channel 5 are yet to comment on whether it will be renewing the lease for the franchise after the end of the contract this summer. Celebrity Big Brother and Big Brother both return later this year.
