Pre-CBB: Big Brother appointed new creative directors for CBB17

New creative directors have been appointed for the upcoming series of Celebrity Big Brother.

Endemol Shine UK have shuffled the senior production team behind Big Brother ahead of the launch of Celebrity Big Brother 2016, and after the sudden departure of Denis O’Conor.

Katy Manley and Susy Price have now been promoted to co-creative directors after serving as executive producers alongside O’Conor. Replacing the duo as executive producers are Andrew Jackson – the person who is currently in charge of The Only Way Is Essex – and Shannon Delwiche – who was the series producer of There’s Something About Josie, a series following Big Brother 11 winner Josie Gibson.

This is the first time that someone entirely new has been appointed executive producer since the show was on Channel 4.

The change comes after O’Conor left the show just five months after being appointed the creative director of Big Brother for 2015. He left after the last series of Celebrity Big Brother.

Celebrity Big Brother returns in January on Channel 5.
