Pre-CBB: Celebrity Big Brother to go “back to basics” ahead of new series?

Celebrity Big Brother will go back to basics when the series returns in January for the nineteenth series. 

Reports are suggesting that the new series of Celebrity Big Brother will feature actual celebrities, instead of the usual cast of reality stars seen in recent runs.

Both the civilian and celebrity versions of Big Brother have been filled with stars from shows such as The Only Way is Essex and Geordie Shore – with the Housemates usually coming out on top and winning the series. Now, according to The Daily Star, bosses are keen to reset the series and go back to basics.

“There is a definite feeling about ripping up the casting book and starting again,” a source said. However, where this leaves the proposed all star edition of Celebrity Big Brother is yet to be seen.
