Pre-CBB: Celebrity Big Brother to kick off on Thursday 16th August

Channel 5 have confirmed that the upcoming series of Celebrity Big Brother will kick off on Thursday 16th August.

The launch show begins at 9pm with a two hour live edition where Emma Willis will introduce the new celebrity Housemates and send them into the newly refurbished Big Brother House.

It’ll be followed by Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side at 11:05pm with Rylan Clark-Neal and a host of celebrity special guests and a live audience.

No Live From The House has been scheduled to follow on from Bit on the Side on either Channel 5 or 5Star.

The next day, Celebrity Big Brother: A Storm Unleashed has been scheduled for 9pm in the hour slot.
