Channel 5 have officially confirmed that Big Brother will return in the summer
In a press release issued earlier today, Channel 5 have finally officially acknowledged the next series of Big Brother, which will start in the summer of next year.
The statement was about auditions for the next series, which opened earlier this month. It reads:
Big Brother returns to our screens on Channel 5 in Summer 2015, and we’re looking for the most diverse, entertaining, interesting, individual and best housemates ever.
Do you think you’ve got what it takes to be our winner and be in with a chance of taking home the life-changing prize fund?
Once again, Big Brother will be searching high and low for the best people we can find, and as always, is keen to be representative of all.

This is the first time that Channel 5 has officially recognized the series, following Endemol opening audition registration earlier this year. The broadcasters deal with Endemol had come to an end following the summer run of Celebrity Big Brother, and details of the new deal are yet to be revealed.
