Viacom plan to share Channel 5 shows across other channels

Viacom have announced that they plan to share shows across its network of channels – including Channel 5 and MTV

Celebrity Big Brother is one of the programmes that will benefit from Viacom’s plan to share shows across its network of channels, in plans announced by the company today.

Early plans include Channel 5’s Australian soaps Neighbours and Home And Away being repeated in omnibuses on free-to-air music and entertainment channel Viva. One of the formats that Channel 5 will get in return is the first series of MTV’s Catfish: The TV Show, which will air on one of the terrestrial broadcaster’s digital channels – 5* or 5USA.

Meanwhile, Viacom have announced that they plan to share content from Celebrity Big Brother on MTV news.
