Channel 5 have axed their daytime repeats of Big Brother.
From Monday 22nd, the 12:15pm repeat of Big Brother has been removed from the Channel 5 schedules due to explosive content – but the pre-watershed edits of Big Brother will continue to air on 5*, MTV and 3e.
Throughout the run of Big Brother, Channel 5 has aired a daytime repeat at 12:15, but the repeat has been removed and will now be shown at 3am instead.
A spokesperson for Channel 5 said “We have moved the daytime repeats to 3am as the content in the show is too explosive for daytime viewing.”
Despite this, a pre-watershed edition of the show must be made as the show is repeated on 5*, MTV and 3e.
