Channel 5 have officially confirmed that the current series of Big Brother will end on Friday 28th July at 9pm. The 54 day long series will come to an end with a special live show airing between 9pm and 10:45pm. During the live show, Emma Willis will announce who has finished in what place during the final before crowning the winner.
Big Brother’s Bit on the Side will follow straight after the live show for an hour, as Rylan Clark-Neal is joined by the Housemates from this series and some celebrity guests.
This makes the series the second shortest series ever – only being four days longer than last year’s series of Big Brother which finished just 50 days after the start.
Celebrity Big Brother is expected to start soon after, with the tabloids currently reporting that it will launch the following week on August 3rd.
