Davina McCall would host Big Brother Revival on Channel 4 if asked

The original “Big Mutha” has confirmed that she would return if asked.

Davina McCall confirmed to Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1 that she would return to host the reality format if she was asked.

Rumours have been swirling, with a Celebrity Big Brother revival on Channel 4, featuring celebrities who are in need of redemption on the line. The Daily Star have since reported Davina is in secret talks to front a revival.

Now, the former host has confirmed that she would return if asked. When asked by Scott Mills on his BBC Radio 1 show, Davina said: “If they asked me to yes! Yes, of course I would!

“You know, I’ve had eleven years off. It’s Channel 4, which is kind of the home where I presented it before.”

Despite the rumours only discussing a celebrity revival, Scott was keen to discuss the original civilian series of the show, commenting that he’d want the Housemates to be pure.

Davina agreed saying:

“It’s all about the casting, and the other thing is, the other big problem there is, the compliance.

“You know, there are housemates, and there was alcohol consumed, and stuff that happened that would never be allowed to happen now.”

Davina has been presenting the anniversary series of best ever shows, with former Bit on the Side host, Rylan Clark-Neal. The series comes to an end this evening with an episode from Big Brother 2.

Meanwhile, Channel 4 have confirmed that Chantelle’s Celebrity Big Brother 4 song “I Want It All” is being made available to stream on Spotify from tomorrow.

C4 said: Fans requested it and Big Brother has delivered. From Friday ‘I Want It All’ by faux girl band Kandy Floss, the song performed by Chantelle Houghton in Celebrity Big Brother 4 in 2006, will be available to stream on Spotify – thanks to Universal Music Group.

After the re-airing of the episode as part of Big Brother: Best Shows Ever last week, fans took to social media to demand it was made available to stream. Big Brother listened and fans will be able to enjoy the song in full from Friday.

Big Brother: Best Shows Ever comes to an end tonight at 9pm on E4.
