Pre-BB: Housemates to be mixed with celebrity duos for new series?

The pairs twist was first revealed after Endemol advertised for duos during the auditions for Big Brother, which returns in June.

According to The Daily Star, pairs include benefits duo Stephen and Michelle Bear. They are also reportedly set to send in a duo who look like Kim Kardashian alongside blogger Janey Christina Farrell, who had to bribe her sister to audition with her.

However, if the twist is correct it won’t just be civilians in the House. Producers have scouted out The Cheeky Girls, who rose to fame back in 2002. “There is massive interest in the girls and they know how much the nation love them,” a source told The Sun newspaper. “Show bosses think this could be the best year yet and the pairs theme is already shaping up nicely.”

There have since been reports that bosses could be bringing back ex-Celebrity Housemates in duos, with Charlotte Crosby and Stephen Bear set to return as a couple.

Big Brother returns in the summer.
